A little project that went crazy. I started off buying 1000 worms off the internet. In 6 months they have produced tens of thousands. I feed a cup full to my hens once a week as a treat. Ive got enough I am going to start bagging them up and refrigerating. They will stay alive, but dormant like that. Good protein for my layers for the winter
This is a really easy and basically maintenance free project. Just toss them a veggie scrap of some sort every few days. Chicken feed or oats for their bedding and let them reproduce
