Huh, they look alike and my family has always called them nile perch, didnt know what the hell a tilapia was when someone ordered it at a restaraunt and pop told me it was nile perch.

Nope. Wish I was wrong. I thought the same thing for years. I can't bring myself to order tilapia at a restaurant after seeing them on Dirty Jobs eating striped bass crap.
