How long do you plan on staying with your parents? Ever tried to bring a woman home to your parent's house? I assumed you would move out when you turn 18...which ain't that far off little buddy.

No harm done with any comments about landscapers, I'm proud of all the hard work that I have done over the year's. I went to school at night and learned Landscape design and worked till I could open my on company. I have designed and built golf course's and shopping malls back in Georgia. I was letting the young man know that he should study and do what ever he enjoys doing in life. :clap

Wish I still lived at home, maybe then I wouldn't have to work full time.. Wait no my dad would still kick my butt out if I didn't!

Same here. And PCBFish, I wasn't bashing landscapers and lawn maintenance. It's just that unless you own the company, the odds that you're going to get ahead on your own and be able to buy all the neat toys we all "have" to have are slim. My brother owns a landscaping & lawn maintenance business as does one of my friends, and both of them do well, but I can guarantee that their laborers don't have paid vacations and holidays, retirement plans, etc.

All was trying to say, and maybe I didn't do it so well, was that paying attention in school will ultimately lead to you learning more, and education opens up more opportunities.

Yep. With the perks and promotions come the headaches.
