from the Islands, 5 days down there and very glad to be back on AMERICAN soil
did do good at the casino. total winnings about $260. got this one on a $2.40 bet. Also had a very hot argument with a cab driver. As I got into the cab he says you look like a republican, then started by asking me why I thought I had a right to own guns. And we went at it for about 15 min. cab ride. I did give him a tip as I got out but it wasn't money and he didn't like it very much.
We went down there once. I enjoyed going and seeing the island. The residents seemed nice as their lively hood depended on us tourists. It was just way too crowded for me and they sure as hell can't drive. I was glad to get home and see cypress trees again
Congrats, BTW, what Island? Anyone working for tips has got to be nuts for discussing politics/religion.
headed for a different Island tomorrow. the upper U P. Michigan. gone for 2 wee-3 weeks. Cooooler weather. going across the Mackinac Bridge. good fishing up there too.
