They are now saying this blob in the Caribbean is gonna get in the gulf and intensify into something, and cut back across to the East across the panhandle/N. Fla later this weekend/first part of next week. I gotta feeling this one will be our rain maker

We sure need a rain maker. Crops that are still making need some water, lots of soy beans, peanuts need a good drink. Rough time here in this part of the world for those that do not have irrigated farm land. Personally, I have lost a good clover patch to the dry summer, don't think it will survive even if we do get rain. It's too hard in the bottom land to even think about preparing land for oats or other green field crops till we get several inches of rain at one time. Treefarmer

that mess in the gulf worries me more than Katia right now. Dam guess I better get that chainsaw and cut those oak branches. last thing I want or should be doing but needs to be done.
