hey kid was just wonderin if you ever caught that bobcat you were after?
post up the pics when you get some.
Try using a feather on a string. When I was growing up in Colorado, I ran a trap line and we got several cats a year. What we did was find a bush or tree that was kind of away from everything else and in the open. We'd hang a white feather from a sting about 3 feet off the ground and put at least 3 leghold traps around it a couple feet out. Bobcats, like all cats are attracted to movement. They would see the feather moving as the breeze blowed and come to investigate.
Best part about using a feather is there is no bait to replace, no smell, and you don't catch incidental stuff like coons when you are after the cat. Don't know if it will work down here, but it was successful in the Rockies.
what?
:smartass: nm i guess that one only works in person.
