the coral snake has a black nose as well. i have come in to close situations with coral snakes. that is a pretty neat find!

As white as it is it looks almost like a scarlet snake. Scarlet kings are much cooler...

Nice i found a coral this past weekend and a couple copperheads but haven't seen a king in a while.

copperheads around here? sure they wernt juvenile cottonmouths?...................................................................................................according to UF herpetologist,, Range: In Florida, this snake occurs only in the panhandle, primarily along the Apalachicola River and its tributaries, and then in the western tip of the panhandle. The FLMNH has specimens in its collections from Jackson, Calhoun, Gulf, Gadsden, Liberty, Leon, and Escambia counties. The range might extend to other nearby areas, but there are no confirmed records from other Florida counties. Outside Florida, the species ranges north to Massachusetts, and west to Texas and southeastern Nebraska
