that works out good then, If I dont get any more deer I hope to get my first hog in small game season cuz id like to have some meat for the summer.....im gonna smoke up some of my meat tomorrow, dont have much left.
That is another bonus that I am blessed to have. I can shoot hogs year round in my lease and also have local private property I can hog hunt all year, plus trapping.

Blessed and lucky indeed, as the next few years go by and hopefully ill have better income by then, I hope to get in on a lease with some people. My dad and I have been talking about it too, but for now just learning as much as I can on public land.
Man I'm tired. Spent the afternoon shoving meat in my meat grinder. I took out all the various packs of meat and ground them to burger. I added one box of bacon end pieces from Winn-Dixie to add a little fat. Ended up with 32 finished packs, a little more that I thought I would have. Probably was around 40 pounds of meat. Time for meat balls, chili, meatloaf, spaghetti, black beans n rice, burgers,etc....
