I use minutes. I have hour long conversations with out of state friends and family several tines a week... Plus texting, plus Facebook and the rest of it.

And so far (knock wood) I haven't had 1 dropped call... Ever!

Yeah I have VZW and never had a dropped call. I can finally upgrade my dinosaur blackberry March 1. Still up in the air if I am going with a DroidX or Iphone. Haven't decided yet

I have 2 lines 2 phones on an old verizon plan for $50 a month, we never exceed that 500 min because our home phone is a majic jack, $60 for 5 years of unlimited calls. I am greatful we do not text or facebook or need a data plan! Ahhh for an uncomplicated life!

I hated AT&T, terrible signal strengths, couldn't make/recieve calls from my own house even though there are at least 3 towers within a mile or 2, and once they had you locked into a 2 yr contract their customer service sucked. they would bend over backwards and kiss your azz UNTIL they got you signed up, then treat you like dirt. 100% improvement since switching to verizon. but 2 yrs is a long time when it comes to tech and who knows who will be best by then.
