Does it ever get updated. I mean its a dam sattelite why cant it just be up to date? And the google pay account is it worth it? I wanted to transfer my points to my gps and you have to be a paid member to do that.. Any info in that?
I think it has been updated...once. And that is not all areas. Most images from around here are years old. 4+ years old. :rolleyes:
I wish there was an imaging thing like Google Earth that was updated at least yearly, preferrably a few times a year.
I would have no problems paying for something like that.
don't know how often the photos are updated. but, i would never pay for that. i just use it to try and find areas I haven't checked out yet on my ga property.

I would love to have updated photos of Green Swamp.
Then I would be able to determine what areas are flooded, which areas have been burned, etc.
Obviously scouting is the best way to know this but it definitely would help in determining where to start.
