So definitely outdoor ranges....
"Hello Outpost Range Supporters:
It's been a while since our last updates. So we wanted to let you know some of the progress that has been taking place. It has been asked if we are behind in schedule. This is the process that we have had to follow. After our State and BOCC final approvals on May 10, 2012 we had to wait a 30 day appeals period before applying for the first permit. This permit granted in the middle of June 2012 from County allows us to shape the land and rough grade the dirt for the contractors to take Outpost Range to the next step of building. The backstops for the 25, 50, 100, and 300 on the rifle range have been roughed in and now pushing towards the 600 yard backstop. As you remember, this property was once an excavation site with many high and low hills that take time to shape. We have several heavy equipment machines working everyday moving this dirt. Improving the roads out to the site location was a first priority and then building the dirt walls around the range was next.
See below some new photos of the progress thus far. Periodic updates on Outpost Range via Facebook and the Website can keep you posted with all the exciting steps we make. Some will come sooner than others based on permit approvals which can take a little bit of time.
Our timeline is projected for a partial soft opening sometime at the end of this year and grand opening first quarter of next. Membership rates can only be determined closer to the ending stages of the project when we know our final true expenses. The membership rates would be fair and reasonable and as always our supporters will be the first to know.
Thank you for all your support,
Michele and Ron Goodenow"
until it's finished and open for business, I wouldn't say for sure anything is definite. the water park and hard rock casino sounded pretty for sure also. as I said in one of my earlier posts everything is "UNSUBSTANTIATED RUMOR", they can advertise and say they are gonna have this, that and the other. I'll wait and see. in this economy anything is possible.
I'd go up and bring you uncle black powder and then we can use the :proud :death :proud :indian :oops together.
Nacho were you using Phoenix gun club before the road incident
be safe
