so i got a giant paper weight. nice. it says on the back what type of freon it uses.. so it might be refillable. anyone here do that? r13

Charging the compressor should be a fairly easy job. I'd love to do it for you, but I got out of the A/C and Refer. buisness once I joind the Army. R13 is the cheaper old stuff. Little tougher to find I think than the R12 or R132. Keep us posted and if it still is low and I'll make a couple of calls and see what I can do for you. May need a few pics of the unit for reference!
