Save a few milk jugs or 2-liter bottles. Fill them 2/3 full of water and put them in the freezer. It takes up dead space in the freezer and makes it run more efficiently. Also when you go to the woods for the weekend, throw a couple of the frozen jugs in the cooler and it keeps your ice longer 😉

I spent the morning defrosting my chest freezer. Got everything reorganized now. I had a bunch of assorted packs of meat from last season and this season that I'm thawing now and grinding into burger tomorrow. Now ill be set till next year
