na got some guy on craigs list selling me one for 60 bucks. ima go pick it up in a minute. hes suppost to drop it off but once again i get all the redneck excuses.. care broke down, my drunk cousin never showed up to drop it off.. i think hes waiting on a better offer. even tho he promised to have to to my house at 9 am. i already took my meat out and put it all in my home freezer. and put that piece of SHITT one that the so called processor sold me in the back yard to get shitt on by the birds.
FINALLY.. This is what i learned.. If a freezer is advertised for used for less then 100 bucks (unless you know the person) IT DONT WORK. or MIGHT WORK FOR A WEEK!.
So i got in contact with another guy yesterday.. He was al about selling me his chest freezer.. He wanted 85 bucks and "in the pic" it looked good. SO he was all about it and said he will be at my doorstep at 9 am with it and ill give him "60" bucks. Ok so i look at my clock and its like 10 and im like WTF?.
Now i remember that he said he had a ton of people coming to look at it and he had a definite buyer in the morning. Im like LOOK i got 60 bucks right now in my back pocket. He said "ok its yours ill be at your house at 9 am sharp at the font door"
SO when this guy dont call or show up im like "ok he sold it for a little more cause he said he had so many people coming to "look at it" tomorrow. SO i kinda pissed when i call and he dont pick up his phone. I already chucked the old piece of merde out the dam back door and it almost fell into the pool, then put my meat in the home freezer (tight fit but it worked). So im like ok wtf?
So i put the daughter in the truck to just go buy a new one. Then the phone rings..... I pick up.. its the guy. Hes like "did someone call me form this number" Im like UMM yea.. i spoke to you for an hour last night between emails and phone. Hes like "Which one are you"? Right there i knew he didnt come to my hous in the morning cause he had found another person who will probably give him 5 bucks more.. So anyway he gives me his address and im like "yea ill be there in 5 mins" I drive there and its outside. He told me he had not had it plugged in for a year and hell plug it in as soon as he gets off the phone. So i get there. The thing is at the curb with a long extension cord and its plugged into his house. I walk up to the fridge. First the seal was broke, then is has already an inch of ice in it. From my experience and research if a freezer ices up that fast its low on freon and will go soon.I just got back in the car and drove off.
I didnt feel bad cause what im figuring is that another guy met him at the house at the time that he was suppose to be at my house and offered him 50cents more and he was like oh well screw him i got another buyer whos gona pay more (he seems like he would do that from talking to him)..
I went to home depot first.. Looked at them.. the 5.0cf was 169 and the 7.0 was 220 and the bigger one was like 400..
So then i go to lowes and see the 5.0 for 169......... and the 7.0 for 220........ so i go up to the guy and say.. Look the homedepot has the 7.0cf one for 169 match it or im gone.. LOLLLLLL..
Called his bluff.. got a 220 dollar freezer for !169.00!! saved 50 bucks cause they 'beat anyones price" LOLLL
Get home hook it up and waiting till tonight to fill it..
Oh hea the guy just called.. being all nice saying hey man ive been waiting for you. I said yea man couldnt make it sory.. sell it to the WHOLE LOT OF OTHER people who you were gonna sell it to thanks.
Ive bought some stuff off craigslist and it all sounds like the same bs. Everyone is trying to sell it but they are too busy to meet up with you to look at it. Same old :crap:
