This is a lady who has a horse and has gotten forclosed on.. So she cant have this horse.. Shes giving it away for free!!!.. SOmeone please take it or shes gonna put it down..
I worked at a horse ranch part time back in like jr. high . There is a high demand for horse bodies. A lot of dog food companies want them (to go into the feed), and the big cat rescue want them too. I know the time I worked at the ranch, if a horse died there was someone there to get it in a matter of a couple hours
I don't have room in my freezer. Just playing that sucks! Doesn't the humane society take them in?
Now the big cat rescues won't take the horses. They told me the medicines that they treat the horses with don't agree with the cats.They love the hogs though. The one I take my boar hogs to goes threw 3200 ponuds a week.
The humane society doesn't normally take them in.They are already over run and they spend their money on horses that have been neglected.I also have a problem with people breeding horses just for the hell of it. No one in the horse world wants a half breed with faulty conformation. I resued my pony from slaughter.She was going to be eaten by people. 😯
Now a days if someone cant keep a horse they will,
Tie them up infront of the resue place.
Tie them to YOUR trailer while at a horse show
Drop them off in the national forestAnd its not common in FL but up north
people will drop them off in your pasture.
