I had another coon in my feed room before I left last week. I couldn't catch him for nothing. Kept springing the trap and eating the bait so I used an ol' trick of mine. I small can of salmon,1/2 cup of friskies buffet,and one cup of cheap anti-freeze. The freakin' coon ate every last drop of my tom cat stew.I imagine he had a pretty good belly ache later that night. I call it Tom cat stew because I used the same recipe for a Tom cat I hunted for the better part of a year,peppered him with bird shot,missed him a bunch with a 22,then finally gave him a meal of grandma's secret recipe. Never seen him again,what a worthy adversary,felt bad I had to kill him that way. Thank you xd45.
Ive set the trap three times in a week and caught a coon every time. I guess my I need to put the bag out for the trash Saturday. It is taking up room in the freezer. Setting it again tonight. And Ill shoot this one before he figures out the door
