Long story short, yall know the troubles I had been having with my truck, right?
well the friday before the superbowl, my water pump went out (yeah the one tires plus just replaced), So i drove it to the closest Tires Plus store (not where i had the work done). Told the sales associate, I was an employee, and that the pump that was just fixed was leaking. He told me the manager was not there, so there was nothing they could do for me. I told the guy to just fix my f'ing truck. I was steamed! The guy told me not to cuss in front of customers, and I appologized.
I find out later that my manager was called and the HR manager was called. Monday morning I was fired for cussing.
The next day I was told by Tires Plus to get my truck and they would not fix it!
So to recap, last year Tires Plus replaces my leaking water pump (simple enough fix right? WRONG), I pick up my truck after the repair, drive home, the engine overheats, and next day runs like crap. Find out that the Head-gasket blew, water in the cylndars etc... They fix the gasket. A week later, the exhaust manafold gasket disintegrates. They replace that. A week later same thing leaky exhaust manafold. They put in a better gasket. 3 weeks later the engine starts missing on 2 cylndars, and the water pump goes. I cuss at the sales associate to fix my truck, I get fired, and my truck is still broke!
I pay a friend 1500.00 to replace the motor, 9 days later get a job(currently a contractor, but hoping to go perm) with Manatee County Sherrif in the IT dept .
spending the past month or so rebuilding my life, savings account, and getting the life back on track.
So I am almost out of the woods, I can take time to swing by the party on Saturday after I get done in the Dojo, Apr 23, 24 Im going turkey hunting @ chazz, Apr 25th going to celebrate my birthday(apr 27) with friends shooting clays at Tenoroc Shooting Sports
then going fishing until hunting season opens again 🙂
