Yep, this is the very reason every law abiding citizen should get a CC liscense. I've assembled a security team in my church that carries as do I. Many are either off duty law enforcement or retired military. We stand watch over the flock during services and at special events. With times like they are, we not only need to be vigilant against the local thugs running around but also the threat from the knuckleheads from the middle east. If someone comes in shooting in my fellowship, he'll get a LOT more than he's putting out...

It was kinda funny, getting dressed for church on Easter Sunday. I was tucking my shirt around my 40cal. Wife looks at me like :wacko

I applaud the gent for doing what he had to do. As for four shots being too many, maybe it was his adrenaline that kept the trigger going or he shot until he felt the threat was neutralized. Pulling your weapon out and using it is a very serious matter. I'm happy this man and his lady friend came away unscathed, but it makes me wonder if he will have to dodge legal bullets from some crafty lawyer in the future to pay for the dirtbag's injuries??? I hope not.
