I thought I was a shooting stud, that is until I saw what these guys do.
yep
if you ever get a chance to see one of the exhibition shooters don't pass, it it it's a real good time. I saw Bob Munden and his wife once, six gun quick draw artists, just amazing. draw fire hit target and re holster in a couple 1/100's of a sec. supposedly the fasest holywood quickdraws were #1 Sammy Davis junior followed by Jerry Lewis and Glen Ford was in the top 5 or so. that show "extreme marksmen" is on sun nite at 10 pm history channel gotta record it, very humbling.someone recently shot a 6 inch verified group at 1 mile, think he was using a 338 lapua mag bolt action.
I've shot trap with Tom Knapp at the Silver Dollar Gun Club in Odessa. He stays in Florida during the winter in his giant RV. He does some exhibitions at the club and gets a pretty penny for tutorials. He's a fun guy.
I caught Byron Ferguson's show in Valdosta several years back and he's amazing with that long bow. He hits targets I can't even see at distances I'd never even attempt! The guy's unreal!
I agree with Nacho, if you get a chance to see these guys perform, don't pass it up...I won't!
Tom Knapp was at the last Suncoast gun show at the fairgrounds. He was standing in a corner talking to someone, and I actually recognized his voice before I even looked over at him.
The guy with the longbow(I think its the same guy) is at the big buck expo every year. Pretty cool to watch a guy shoot three aspirin with three arrows at the same time
