So i found out that the front driver side bearings are shot on my nissan titan..
So you cant replace the bearings, and you need to get a whole new hub. So i found a hub but my problem is that i CANNOT get the hub off the spindle. Tried the removal tool and it only budged like a quarter inch.. So now im stuck with no truck on jacks and cant get the old hub off to get the new one on.
So did i spin a bearing and get it stuck on the spindle? Not sure what to do.. this sucks.
cv joint?
You took the pin out and the keeper off? Did the hub turn when a wheel was on it and did it grind and stop"freeze up"?
There are no lock rings, these newer hubs are 1 piece pressed in. You prolly need to take it to a mechanic, they dont just slide in and out. At least that's how mine are.
That sucks. I just had to replace hubs on my Avalanche a few months back.
