what did you do to break the old garbage disposal? hope you didn't buy something you didn't need.
wel im sitting in the office with bodysnatcher and my wifes says in a calm nice vioce) "come here for a minute" im like wtf.. she just walks to the kitchen and points. the sink is clogged up . so i say ok how did this happpen.. of course she says the famous i dunny.. so she says and theres something else.. im like oh god what now.. she says take a look under the sink. I say ok i dont see nothing.. She says look closser.. then she turns th egarbage disposal on and theres water squirting out of the back of the dam disposal.. so i take off the trap and clear out the clogg.. nasty rice, chicken and everything else that stinks comes out al over the floor.. So i take the dispoasl off and look at it and there doesnt seem to be a problem.. to i take it to lowes and the guy says "well how old is it and whats wrong with it" i say its 4 years old and its squirting water ouf ot the back somewhere.. turns out he sais that when it was clogged and i turned the diaposal on it blew the seal. so i just said forget it ill buy a new one.. put it on and it does the same thing the old one does.. just no water squirting out the back.

10-4, blew out the seal where it connects to the sink? that gasket is like 5 bucks. oh well, new disposal, all is right with the sink. i love garbage disposal service calls. easy money
Man I went thru garbage disposal hell with my wife the first few years we were married. I got to where I could change one out blind folded. One time we were cooking Christmas dinner. She peeled like 30 potatoes in the sink, shoved all the peels down the drain at once then turned it on. I could have killed her.
