They look better after I plane them. scroll thru the photos. The real thick centers was by hand. I still have two long boards to cut out of one log and a lot of short logs.
Just be sure to keep them fingers away. I know, I know, "Oh I'll be careful." Nobody ever goes out saying oh I'm going to go cut my finger off today.(and feet)
