ain't that what helpers are for??? make mine do all the sh@t work. "lol" "lol"
we laid off the helper, too slow for extra workers. ive been here for 4 years, and im next on the list. kinda sucks. i hope plenty of snowbirds come down so i still have a job through the year. we have laid off 2 and one kinda left on his own.we were small, now we are really small. 2 owners, owners son, me and another guy.
i hear ya. company i work for isn't real big there is only 6 of us that cover the whole state. out of Tampa, my helper and I cover from Crystal River down to the keys. east and west coast. the 4 guys in Jax cover from crystal river north to Charelston S.C.
what do you do?
repair steam, chemical, gas, water leaks while they are under pressure. do from vacuum up to 5000 psi and cryogenic to 1800 degrees F. work for the power plants, paper mills, fertilizer plants--- pretty much anybody that runs all the time, they call us instead of shutting down a plant.
