i use tea tree oil,they back out instantly and you can pick them off,you can get it at walmart
I much rather prefer if they just stay the hell off me completely. And if Sawyers will kill the little SOBs, then I'll buy stock in the stuff so I can spray down my stand, the tree, pants, boots, jacket, hat, etc. From what I understand, you can spray it on all your washable gear, and it doesn't lose it's effectiveness after washing. I know what I'm doing this weekend between 9am and 3pm (the rest of the time, I'm gonna be in the stand, in the woods, or over helpin Gunboy put up some shade awnings in his back yard).
No need for the tick remedy. Just go buy a couple bottles of Sawyers spray before you go and spray down your clothes. Yes, this means you have to where pants instead of shorts, but you have to weigh the cost of not wearing pants with picking ticks.
Done doing any work just relax my try to shoot a deer Friday or Saturday.Saturday having a get together to send me off.. down at cabin..going to have a fire and reflect.Then............
