with golf course permission aren't any nite hunt permits avail for pest removal? up north pro hunters were paid to shoot deer off farms at nite with silencers and nite scopes. trapping is an option I suppose. can't go Bill Murray on em with golfers on the course. one at a timing them would take way to long if they have a real problem.

silencers.. illegal
night hunting with a gun ...illegal (doubt the gulf course owner will sign of for that through fwc)
Nite scopes.. illegal

I know silencers and night shooting is illegal ( for the general public) and N.Y. is about as strict as it comes to gun laws, but somehow the grape vineyards and strawberry growers among others are doing it legally. maybe they need an exterminaters licence or something. don't know how, just know it is being done, and if they can do it there surely it's possible to do here. I've hunted the srawberry farms myself( slugs only during daylight hours) and they were very happy to have you there. but the "pros" get to play by different rules.

What about hunting raccoons at night? Thats legal. So wouldnt you need a night scope for your gun then?

raccoon hunting has its own set of laws that i cant even find on the fwc site. Supposedly you can coon hunt at night an a lot of wmas.. But i think it with dogs.. No idea about that.. its a large grey area i have no idea about.

i dont know if you can use nightvision scopes at all on wmas. you can definately use scopes while coon hunting, not really necessary though, most of your shots are fairly close range. open sights are usually enough
