Home from hunting. First time being skunked in this WMA 🙁 The wind was nasty the last two days!!!! Saw three deer, and all of them were very sketchy. One busted me at 20 yards before I could get a good shot. Also saw a huge bobcat (cant shoot) and was covered by turkeys 20+ every morning(cant shoot). Still had a great time :rockon One of the slowest starts ever out there, I think their was only 7 deer killed so far since Sat.

John, looked for you while I was out there and actually saw you twice....first time was Monday AM I was turning in off the hard road and you had just turned out.....the second time was this morning, you left the check station (checking out) and I had just left the gut pile. When I went to take the barrel back I asked the guy at the check station if you had just checked out and he said yes, you were going home. I did go by both campgrounds monday and didn't see anyone.
Wished we could've met up, maybe next time. Today was the first day I actually hunted the place and I am 1 for 1 :clap

Yup just did miss you. He said someone just finished cleaning a doe. Congrats :rockon It was hard hunting the last few days with the wind. What area did you end up hunting? North South East West?
