I may be getting one of these if I can find it!

From the Slickguns.com ad:

New from TNW Firearms is the Aero Survival Rifle with interchangeable barrels in 9mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP, .22LR will be available soon. MSRP is $575, street price should be around $500.

no audio for me. guess it depends on what you're trying to survive from, man or beast. maybe I'm just old fashioned but I like pistol rounds in pistols and rifle rounds in rifles. if you're gonna have a longer bbl and rifle stock, I'd rather have the extra range, accuracy and stopping power of a rifle caliber. but that's jmo. to each his own. a good slingshot and bag of marbles or ball bearings could gather small game or put a hurtin on an intruder and do it quietly and cheaply.

When SHTF or you have to evacuate due to something like Sandy, being able to have a weapon that provides flexibility in common calibers, common magazines, etc. can be beneficial. If you carry a .45 and the little woman carries a 9mm or .40S&W, and you can carry the ammo for those weapons and use it in the rifle as well, I think that has merit. Rifles as a lead-slinging platform are generally easier to shoot, more accurate, and while pistol calibers may not be 500 yard varmint shooters or 300 yard elk killers, an effective range of 100 yards or so will do quite nicely in most situations. There's also very few indoor ranges where you can shoot rifle calibers, and the economics of shooting pistol calibers vs. most rifle calibers makes the "fun factor" another benefit. Since no firearm can do all things in all situations, it doesn't hurt to have something that has the ability to do several things for several situations.

Too bad it's only in pistol calibers...they made the mag well look bigger but then filled it in...little silly.
