Does anyone have one or shot one in the pass? 30-06 pump sounds badass might need to add it to the collection. :chain
they are great, much better than the 7400 semi autos, good for lefties also.
Great gun. My cuz has one and has probably killed 75 animals with it. I have a 742(was dads gun) and a 7400 with ZERO trouble with either. I don't know why there is so much hate for them. I guess most people that have had trouble with them have never properly cleaned one. In fact, I would guarantee it
I have one, a late 70's deluxe bdl carbine in 308 and it shoots as well as any bolt action rifle I've ever owned inside 150 yards!
nah, it's more than being dirty. it's in the design/engineering and certain dates of mfg & lots etc. the 760's are simpler and can tolerate ammo's of different pressures and bullet wt's and length's better. if you have a semi and it works and shoots well for you, consider yourself lucky. a good cleaning regimen is not a bad idea though, for any gun.
