Picked up the gun new for 200. I have heard mixed review but I havent had any issues yet. Does anyone have one of these?

The biggest issue with that model series is them jamming. I will betcha that 90% of those that claim they jam is improper cleaning and oiling. Do that and it will last you many many years. I have my dads that he bought at Monkey Wards back in the 60's and it is still to this day a good reliable rifle

Had one in 30-06, a newer one, black synthetic stock in the late 90's... It was OK, but it was a jammer and only liked one type of ammo... wasn't the most accurate weapon past 80-100 yards either. No fun for plinking... I got rid of it since it wasn't a keeper IMHO and didn't really set my boat on fire.... But for $200.00 I'd take another...
