Good Luck!
I couldn't get one.....didnt have what I wanted...Need to wait more....
And one more question about a shotgun. Do I need to have a choke in order to hunt animals like quail, turkey, or other game animals deers, pigs, and stuffs??
And what does exactly choke do? All I know is it is a piece of cylinder mounts on tip of the shotgun and helps shotgun shell to spread more or less. Do I still need choke for a 28 in barrel 12 guage shotgun to hunt turkey?
And I also heard there are barrel differences as well. rifle barrel, slug barrel, blah blah...... What exactly are they and how am I suppose to tell whether they are rifle barrel or slug barrel or else?
Any help would be appreciated... :dots :dots :dots
rifled barrel means that it has grooves in barrel like a rifle, for shooting sabot slugs. slug barrel simply means that it is a cylinder barrel with no chokes. depending on what choke you have your shot spreads diffferently... c,ic,m,im,f,exf, these are used for different applications, but you can shoot slugs thru a choked barrel as well. Have not shot the weatherby, but it is a nice gun. also at dicks is the benelli nova pump shotgun for 450, dont know if you wanna spend that much, but you will prob never need another shotgun.
Older shotguns have a "pre fixed choke" , which the thickness at end of barrel are formed into it. Newer shotguns have screw in chokes, which allow the gun owner to change them out depending on the load you are shooting.
They make choke tubes which are really open(spread more) like cylinder, improved cylinder, etc for bird hunting, and skeet/trap shooting. Then a modified is like right in the middle(I recommend a modified for buckshot), they they go all the way up to full choke and XX full choke for turkey hunting. The more choke, the tighter the constriction, which can throw a tighter pattern
DO NOT SHOOT A GUN W/O A CHOKE INSTALLED/. You will destroy the barrel

is benelli nova that great shotgun? I heard lot of folks use em to go turkey hunting with it. And they look nice too I think. But what are the significant reasons why they're better than other brands??
If it is worth it, Im willing to spend it tho lol
