yeah, I played with that all the way to viet nam. They actually had to pry that out of my hands to give replacement m-16. I was breaking down m-60(machine gun) belts to get ammo. what a great rifle. never a malfuntcion and a kickazz punch when it hit. 7.62-.308 mine was accurate as could be.
