I've got a single six wit the interchangeable cylinders. Very sweet shooting pistol :rambo
How heavy is the Single Six with the .22 mag cylinder? I'm thinking it would be a good gun to carry into bays, rather than my shotgun or my .44 mag. Sprinting with that big pistol (55 oz, loaded) on my hip starts to hurt after awhile.
Upon Googling it, I'm reading that the Single Six is just over half the weight of my .44. That sounds better.
Not heavy at all. I bet my dad a steak dinner years back that he couldn't shoot a diller at like 50+ yards free hand with it.
Needless to say he ordered the biggest steak on the menu that night....
I always thought a 44 mag might be too much to shoot a hog covered with dogs, worried about a thru and thru. the 22 mag will work fine if you put it in the right place, plus can use snake shot in it. and strong enough to club a hog to death with it.
I won't shoot a hog with anything if I think there is a chance I'm going to hit a dog. I wouldn't shoot a slingshot at em even....the dogs take enough of a beating.
