Definitly want an ak. Allways have. I remember when they were 150 now get at least 300 to even think about one.

if you can find one for $300 that actually functions safely you better grab it. also remember AKs or not mil-spec like ARs are. Its much harder to fix one with scavanged parts. barrels or matched to reciever when built, not a pile of both and start installing

Yeah. I'll take 10 at $300.00! I have been buying some new imports at a little over cost for around $525.00. You really can't touch a used one now for less than $600. After the first of the year I'd expect they will be selling in the 700-800 dollar range for used ones.

The same thing is going to happen to the SKS. They are running in the $300-400 range now and I'd expect they go to the $500-600 range after the first of the year.

Your president and his democrat crew have made it clear they are interested and support another "assault weapons" ban, although an "assault weapon" will probably be anything the shoots semi-automatic or full auto, which could include semi automatic hand guns and probably will include hi-cap magazines for all weapons again.

Your President has put the Kabash on importing old stock from overseas, so no more imports to modify means the price will be going up. No US manufacturer is building the AK due to the cost of manufacturing the bolt and bolt carrier group. I suspect one of the gun manufacturers will eventually strat building a US made AK, but I'd guess they start in the $1000 range.

This same thing happened in early 2008 to the AR-15 market after your president was elected for his first tour of duty that started ruining our country. The price of an AR nearly tripled in 6 months. There were only about 10-12 companies manufacturing AR's back then and you could not touch one for under $1500, since they couldn't build them fast enough. I sold the three I had and made out like a fat rat, tripling my initial investiment, giving me some funds to collect my ole Winchesters. Now there are over 50 companies building AR's and it's unlikely the same thing will happen to the AR market as it did in 2008.

First gun I bought was an AK, love the thing to death, probably pushed 5k rounds through it. I got one of the few "good" century arms wasr-10s. Groups 5"@100yds which no one believes till they shoot it. My only complaint is the idiot I bought it off of painted it with cheapo paint, it needs duracoating
