1000 Rounds of 7.62x39 (SKS) shipped is $200 today. SKS's are selling in the 300-350 range. His SKS ammo, new is worth $100 and the SKS $300, that's $400. Same goes for the M1 Carbine, about $400 with the ammo and mags IN TODAYS MARKET, not the BLUE BOOK OF GUNS. At $800 for the two rifles, ammo and mags I'm not interested as they aren't something SUPER desirable to me. Anyways, it doesn't appear he really wants to get rid of them. Thanks for the lead.
Hope he doesn't take it all to the pawn shop now for the $700 offered for everything, when he gets tight for $$$$$$ and the azz hole pawn shop gets the deal on everything and we get nada!
^^Precisely what a friend of mine did a few years back when he fell on hard times. I wanted to puke and kick his ass at the same time. He had some guns I really wanted to own. And would have given him a lot more than he got from the slime ball at the pawn shop.
No I told him that we had dibs on them. He said he will sell them to me before the pawn shop. So I'll let you know. But I did stop in a pawn shop today on my way home and they had a colt defender .45 lightweight with stainless slide and crimson trace laser grip. Wow!! I fell in love
Sorry the deal fell through gunboy. We also picked up a Remington wing master from my girlfriends grandpa last night. He was moving and gave it to us. Said he bought it 50 years ago for $50
Looks like he is not ready to part with them cheap. Since the large group of M1's were blocked by Obama. The price can only climb. He may even have something rare, you never know.
Glad to hear he is in remission
