great caliber choice if you want alot of smackdown without the expected recoil. I'd love one in an old rem mdl 700 bolt. search online at gunbroker.com. if you find 2 let me know.

You have any preferences besides the caliber - bolt, pump, single shot? I've seen Handi-Rifles on gunbroker.com for about $250 in .35 Whelen.

No preference. Doesn't matter to me really. Not sure on gun broker, how does it work?
