Well I have seen some mounts people have done and don't come out near as nice
Here it is *completed*, with an asterisk next to it...Not exactly happy with the way it looks. If I could ever get home when there is some decent daylight out, i could get a better gauge on it. There are a couple spots I do believe still have some grease in them. Ive done quite a few deer now, and this was the greasiest one I have done. Glued the teeth and nose bones in this morning and snapped some quick pics
Still have some touch up staining to do on the antler burrs where they bleached out, regardless. Ill post a follow up pic when I am satisfied
Allen,is it better to have a lids over them? I have two sets soaking in a bucket of water. I did two last year that came out ok but had to stain the antlers.
