Todays rabbit hunt

I arrived at sunup and and loaded the 12 gage. I stepped about 10 feet into the WMA and shot my first rabbit. Soon 4 more followed within 100 yards. I returned to my truck to drop off the first batch only to see a rabbit standing at my tail gate. BOOM rabbit #6. By 8:30 I had 9 rabbits and decided to go try to find a hog. I put my backpack on so I could get some fruit (oranges and grapefruit) and headed back out. About a mile in I set the back pack down along the citrus trees and walked into the row only to find about 12 hogs feeding. Their was 4 or 5, 30# hogs. 4 or 5, 20# pound hogs. And 3 real small hogs. I snuck up on them and was picking out which one to shoot when one of the little hogs spotted me. Hogs started running past me on both sides. I raised my gun and shot one about 5 yards away. It was in tall grass I walked over to it to find it was not the one I wanted to shoot! It was one of the 20 pound hogs. Ohh well it made for easy carrying. On the way out I filled up my duffel bags with citrus and called it a day at 10:15
