I took my girlfriends brother hunting with me friday with the hopes of getting a deer, Grabbed the muzzleloaded and hit the woods early. Sat the stand and heard a few come by but nothing hit the corn se we got down in pursuit but never seen anything.
Walking back out of the woods I saw a white ball a fur scurry across the ground and thought it was a rabbit until it scaled a tree,
A big gray squirrel. We staked it out for a couple of minutes and my buddy put a nice shot and knocked him out of the tree.
Skinned him up and got a nice pelt
My uncle ended up shooting 6in spike with his muzzy so we skinned him up and hauled the carcass off to the field for some yote hunting later on. Got a few to answer my calls but none came in, should have hung out till night and we could have got one.
Had a kick ass friday though. Now ive got to get my gf her 1st bloodshed.
