Made a few calls and waiting to hear back. If it's bank fishing we can just hit some canals around snapper creek and the Kendall area. The golf courses are great but I can't hit the one I live at. Long story. 🙄 With the kayak you can put in at snapper creek and hit all the condo's which I know are good or even head all the way to blue lagoon by the airport--peacock, largemouth, snook and small tarpon. It's a long haul but worth the trip some days. You can also hit any of the canals along the T-pike down here and there are plenty of fish. I just never targeted peacock on a regular basis. I've got a 60' deep water canal behind my house that seems to be loaded with them but never fish it. I'll make some more calls today and push them.

just looking to park and walk canals.. not trying to get in the water.. easy fishing.. we are going to get a hotel and a map hopefully with the canals marked on it.
