Keep those interesting pictures coming, Bossman! :clap

Since I have to guess which one is you, I would venture you are the soldier behind the man on the gun. Am I right and what is that thing he's shooting? I'm old Corps and back in the 60's we had the M-60 but nothing like that. :chain In fact I was never issued an M-16, we were equipped with M-14's. At familiarization classes the 16's were referred to as Mattel Toys.

I truly wish that everyone in the country had a quart of that ice cream! Enough is enough, I fear for my children and my grandsons having to live in such a mess in the years to come. There seems to be no end to the underhandedness of this administration.

The last picture says to me "One more step, and I'll let it fly!" Wishing he was back home in a tree stand, unless that the new way to go to "sling arms". :flag2

Farmer you have done it again. I was the instructor, keeping a close eye on the guy firing. That is a Mark 19 a high $ Auto grenade launcher. Man those things are fun to fire! They will reak havock on a car riding along. There still isn't anything like that thunk thunk thunk of a M60 that is one weapon no matter where, you will always reconise the sound of it. Funny thing is that when your in a fire fight a start to hear that M60 start rocking it will bring a smile to you face. :taz
And yeah in that last picture that guy is missing out on the first weekend of Bow season and not sling arms.

WOW! I heard on some talk show yesterday that one of the bases that we had gone in and claimed and fixed up to a liveable standards has been wreaked and pilfered. We left this place to the Iraqi Army and left lots of equipment there for them to use. Now all of the equipment has been stolen and stripped for scrap metal. Wow These people have no clue! We should have done what I thought that we would have done in the first place is keep an active duty base there just like we did in Germany. Then all of this horse sh_t wouldn't have happen. Makes one feel that we did all of this for nothing!
