Got one of those lee loader kits I want to do 30/30 and 357 mag I have not gotten a book yet and I plan to just had a few questions. What type of powder do you use/like? BH 209 is what i use in my black powder can I use this in reloading also? When looking at bullets for my 357 they show 38 cal and 357 as being the same bullet is this true? THANKS and trust me there will be MORE questions to come.
whoa, NEVER use blackpowder for reloading metalic cartridges, unless it is an OLD COWBOY load, modern loads use smokless powder that BURNS at a specific rate. black powder explodes. first off get yourself a relaoding manual from a particular bullet mfg, sierra, hornady,nosler. that will explain the reloading process. or you can do it via computer. 38's and 357's have the same size bullet diameter, so you could put the same bullet head ,depending on weight, in either round. just be aware that alot of older 38 specials are not rated (safe ) to use +p ammo ( hot loads ) and you can shoot 38's in a 357 mag gun

please get a reloading manuel.. it will tell you what powder to use and what measurement for that powder in the size caliber you are using. Get some dippers also and a scale.
