My favorite loads for my Remington 700 .243 are the Sierra 100 gr. spitzer for deer and the Sierra 85 gr. BTHP for varmints. Both are charged with 42 gr. of IMR 4350. Both are very accurate, and the 100 gr. load will kill deer like lightning if hit broadside or in the front. I would try to avoid going away shots.
i havent pressed hunting loads yet.. but will as soon as i get a chance to get the dies.. probably will be pressing the exact same thing as the rem 150g core loks.
anyone re-load shotgun loads? i have a re-loader, primers, wads, and a bag of lead. set up for 20 guage. the shot is 7 1/2 chilled lead.
Nice.. i know that floridahunter99 does shotgun.. and i want to start shotgun asap.
well i have it, dont use it, someone should get it, dont even know if everything is there, it was given to me as a tip from a customer a couple years ago
