WMA Archery Buck

Shot this 4 point on a North Central WMA that has the "Forked Horn" rule. He was chasing two small doe's and was about 15 minutes behind them. Shot was right at 25 yards and I drilled him right through the heart with the broad head lodging in the opposite shoulder. He ran less than 100 yards before dropping dead.

He weighed 90lbs field dressed...

Shot him with my Old Quinn Longhorn Classic Recurve, Easton Legacy 2016, and a 150 grain Wensel Woodsman Head.

Sweet deal! All bucks are trophies when taken on public land. You have to take them as they come on public land because if you pass on one it might be your last. Like to see people using the ole long bow, that takes lots of practice. Once again congrats.

Well I agree...plus I had to save those two little doe's he was chasing before they became violated by him! 🙂
