I dont think ive ever seen a buck rub on a pine tree, usually always the small cypress and oak, I know the hogs love hell outta some pine.

the deer will definitely rub pine in ocala.

I found one yesterday that was last years on a pine. Mostly they are on myrtles, cypress, and cedars. And the little bay trees, they will shred them apart

I've seen them rub everything. Best way to tell if it's a real buck rub is look for twisted or broken limbs on the tree.

I know it was cuz I shot his azz while doing it.It was this guy

Thats pretty crazy, he rubbed those trees pretty good.
