Here's the latest one before and after, with or without the solid oak plaque, either way hangs on the wall. Makes a nice looking trophy. This one is shipping out tomorrow. Let me know what you think...

Hey thanks Cr0ck....did this one and another one for a guy and also his son's first small Georgia buck...Doing another one just like these for a guy from Florida who got a pretty nice 8 pt. in Croom a while back...makes a nice mount without the expense of a full mount, especially for a smaller rack.
After seeing some of the nice racks that people are bringing in from the Florida WMAs I am really looking forward to hunting around here next year.
Anyway...thanks again...
dave

Nice. What did you put over the skull cap to smooth it out and make it round? I have a small 6-point I wanted to do something similar too.

Hey John...thanks for that....all I can tell you is eleven different herbs and spices and some painstaking trade secrets.....anyway...you know if I tell ya....Id just have to shoot ya. If you need one done, let me know, its what I do....I also do full brisket mounts and tan fresh whitetail hides and they come out real nice....

thanks again,
dave
