At our camp at Fanlew, rut was before Thanksgiving, but where we hunt in the national forest ( 50 miles west) it didn't start til after Christmas. Still seeing sign. Course the buck/doe ratio is so far out of whack there the does will get bred til march.

I had a lease in Fanlew up until last year (we had the corner piece of hwy 59/98) and it was alwyas the week before or week of Thanksgiving
The area I am sitting at is like a magnet for deer and hogs I saw me nice lil 6pt again today on my drive now talk about timing.....
