It never fails. I go to work on Friday and they kill one. This time it was two- a 7pt and 8pt. I'm glad for them but I can't stand to miss out on the action!

I went with my other buddies to 3 rivers today. They had been having some trouble jumping bucks so me and my friend knew we had found some scrapes that some buck had been hitting earlier in the week. We walked my pack out there and three of them went to opening on a track a few feet from the scrape. 20 minutes later and they jumped him and he was coming straight toward us. We parked too close to the crossing and he came down the trail just enough we could see his body and not his head. He whirled back in the block and ran straight to my buddy and he put a 300 wsm bullet through him. It's nice how 1 race can turn the day around quickly!
