Planned a last min. hunt on Fri. Headed up to a central Fl. WMA. I was kucky enough to kill a good buck. Caught him slipping in 20 mins. before dark. A few mins. before his arrival I had a real tall spike chase a doe by my stand. The buck I could here grunting in the thicket before they came by. The rut must be heating up. To bad the season pretty much closed around there.
