How many deer do you normally see on avg out of the stand per sitting? Depending if I'm in the lease or on our property, I normally see at least 4-5 in the lease and just 1-3 on our property. My sightings are way, way down from yrs past. Between the coyotes, hogs population exploding again, and doe harvest the lease isn't half as good as it use to be! How are your hunting grounds compared to the past years?

That's what I hear from a lot of hunters. I actually had my first game cam pic of one this past yr. Needless to say I didn't bow hunt there. My brother and dad have been troubled by them in jefferson and madison county for years.
Frequently I analyze bear kills and sightings at work and they are a real problem north and west of our lease. I am hoping they don't establish a population in our lease but I think it's already happened.
The guys are bow hunting and getting deer and hogs on our lease but my cams are only getting bear, fox and raccons!
Not as many as I did in previous years in my club.3 years ago I'd see at up to 20 deer a day just from my stands not counting while driving around what I'd see in the roads. This year in my one spot I seen 2 deer in about 5 hunts and between 2 and 6 in my other stand.
