One of my employees just got his first 6 point buck the easy way. He hit the thing going 60 mph on McMullen Booth road and Keyston in Tarpon :oops . He was cool about it and called me asking if I wanted it, because the FHP told him he could keep it if he wanted it. He did about $5000- $6000 worth of damage to his BMW. Cops told him happens all the time in that area. Again, no justice I hunt every weekend for the last two months and no deer, this duche gets one on his way home from work not even trying.
I don't think I'd notch my rifle stock with a road kill. One thing I've learned over the years is that there is just so much more to hunting than killing animals.
Your right I was kind of pissed, because he took out a nice buck that one of us could have gotten the right way in the future.

To me hunting is more about getting out in the woods and hanging with the boys. Hell I've hunted 20+ times this year and only took 1 shoot. So hunting to me has nothing to do with killing. It keeps me from killing my wife :rock_on .
I think me and some of my friends have seen over 10 road killed deer the last few weeks in Brooksville. When I was in Missouri last month they were everywhere laying on the side of roads.I
almost took out a family of them one night.
